I smell a Cuomo executive order in our future.

Or maybe Obama will do it for all the states.

The truly sad part is that Mexico has so many resources that we should be sneaking across the border.

Why aren’t the being rounded up and deported from these rallies. Grab them, process them and have them repatriated in less than 12 hours.

Incredible. Goes to show even a few state Senators in Albany can still smell political poison on occasion.

In the recent past, the New York state senate always had a Republican majority.

As I recall, legislatively, the districting was almost impossible to change.

According to Wiki, the current make up is:

Republican - 29
Democrat - 28
Independent Democrat - 4
Vacancy - 2

RE: "Incredible. Goes to show even a few state Senators in Albany can still smell political poison on occasion."

Just Republicans, I'm afraid.

I haven't seen the vote tally.

But there are 29 Republicans in the state senate.

All they needed was one Independent Democrat (a New York party) to vote with them, and the other three to call in sick or abstain.

30-29, eh?

Well, give them a few days. They’ll “convince” someone to switch.

I agree. It is utterly ridiculous that our NYC public schools are chronically short on materials. For example, teachers have to spend $30-40 or more of their own money a week just to get xeroxing of classroom materials done, such is the paper shortage in some schools. This would be considerably relieved if they booted the illegals who have NO right to a free education paid for by NY taxpayers. And the utter CHUTZPAH of them to demonstrate and DEMAND. You’re criminals. You don’t make demands. You get the hell out of my country, that’s what you do.
