Search area cut to the size of Arizona
Investigators have halved the scope of the search for missing Malaysian Airlines Flight 370 to an area roughly the size of Arizona, off the coast of Australia, it was reported late Wednesday.
Hourly satellite pings from the aircraft, refined by U.S. and British aviation officials, provided far more information than expected as to where a wreck may be found, allowing the search to be drastically narrowed to two possible flight paths.
Both of the routes head toward the South Pole and end in the Indian Ocean, some 1429 miles from Perth, ABC News reported. The calculations have now been handed over to Australian officials and the county's search and rescue crews are combing the area.....

a defection to AUS?
ZOMG he stole John Travolta’s head, too.
OK, why would they head there?
Or Rescue teams are headed in the opposite direction and need a little more time to achieve surprise.
Was Carmen San Diego on da plane?
Wasn’t that the head of Alfredo Garcia?
This was the only place left on earth where moslems hadn`t killed anyone.
There is a plane circling my house or this general area every few minutes. Maybe it got as far as Florida?
Actually I am around 90% certain it is a Specter Gun Ship as they have a distinctive sound.
Juan Bautista, maybe?
because the plane went south.
If there was mechanical difficulty - why would they head there?
If there was a hijacking - why would they head there?
Yes Zorro was on the plane — he was in change of the cloaking device.
You’re right ... there’s no reason.
Why would a guy on top of his game just throw it all away???
He may have needed time to consider whether to land the plane on the surface and let it sink in the deep waters, or to take a nosedive from 35,000 feet and 500 mph.
It would be at more than 500 mph.
Perhaps suicide, but why go through all the trouble? Think of all the potential points of failure: you might not be able to hijack the plane, you hijack the plane but the pilot lies about your heading and you’re not over the Indian Ocean, who will hold the passengers at bay while you attack the pilot - you’ll need an accomplice who also wants to die in the southern ocean, etc etc.
A plan to commit suicide by hijacking a plane and then crashing it into the southern Indian Ocean... kinda far fetched, imo.
If it was a hijacking there almost certainly was more than one person. Which brings us back to mechanical failure.
This just doesn’t add up.
Could be near to new info. the boy has made it a top priority, so watch for Breaking news.
