The kickstarter program that raised money for the “Veronica Mars” movie shows people will give money to pay for what they support. It is in your court H’wood rich.

If Mizz Bell thinks she should be paying more to Fedzilla than she already is, she’s free to do so. Make checks payable to “Treasury of the United States” ...

Someone should tell this Kristin person that she is quite free to donate as much money as she wishes to the government.

I would love to see a Republican controlled congress repeal all the Hollywood tax breaks. Then watch the super rich Hollywood liberals cry.

Saying, "The Rich, like me, should pay more taxes" hits the Self-Important Liberal Douchebag Trifecta.

It combines Demonization of The Other, Moral Preening and Bragging into eight simple words.

In the first 100 Days of the Haiku Guy Administration, every IRS agent currently assigned to harassing the Tea Party would be reassigned to decoding the Hollywood accounting practices used to determine gross profit and expenses. New rules would follow shortly after.

The Wall Street Journal recently did a piece on how many films are made outside Hollywood; the industry workers were angry because there was so little work left there. I believe only a very small part of “Battlefield: Los Angeles” was even filmed in LA; moviemakers have simply started filming elsewhere to (successfully) cut costs.

Why doesn’t the President make a commercial showing people how to make a check to the federal government so they can be happy paying “taxes”. I really like Kristen Bell, but this is just stupid. Do a debt relief telethon. Let’s see REALLY who is serious about paying more taxes. I bet most would be to busy that weekend.

I do know that a lot of filming is done in Canada due to costs.

they film in places that give them tax breaks

maybe Kristen bell should put her money where her mouth is by refusing to work on any production that is receiving tax breaks

(PS: She really didn’t mean “the rich” should pay more taxes, she meant you and I should pay more taxes)

That would happen for sure. “House of Cards” had filmed for two years in Maryland. Governor O’Malley (loves taxes) decided to take away the tax breaks for movies filmed in Maryland. All “House of Cards” had to do was say they were going elsewhere and Governor O’Malley immediately put the tax break back and now they are filming Season 3.

That’s right; I believe for the “Titanic” movie, the 90% scale model of the ship was built in Mexico for the same reason. It was incredible how much filming was no longer done in Hollywood; they’re finished.

I wonder if Miss intellectual understands the difference between “higher dollar amount” and “higher percentage”?

Hollyweird rarely does filming in CA and America anymore because of Taxes.
They are hypocrites and they know it. But we must do as they say, not as they do
to remain in the good graces of egotistical and Stupid actors and Actresses.
