Rich Socialists should pay higher taxes. 100% of their income above minimum wage. Fair is fair.

It combines Demonization of The Other, Moral Preening and Bragging into eight simple words.

What "Other"?

There's nothing preventing Kristen Bell from VOLUNTARILY paying as much money to the tax man as she wants. She needs to lead by example before she inflicts higher taxes on others.

The Wall Street Journal recently did a piece on how many films are made outside Hollywood; the industry workers were angry because there was so little work left there. I believe only a very small part of “Battlefield: Los Angeles” was even filmed in LA; moviemakers have simply started filming elsewhere to (successfully) cut costs.

My understanding is that the big cost everyone "in Hollywood" is avoiding are the unions there. And it's been like that for over 40 years.

When Russ Meyer dabbled with studio financing of his films, he still wanted to use his same crew. He was permitted to have them as long as he still paid for union workers to sit on their asses on the set while his crew worked.

Today Hollywood "outsources" the work (they shoot films in Canada and Eastern Europe as "the USA").

She can give John F’n Kerry a call and ask him why he hid his Yacht in Rhode Island and why he checked the LOWER TAX RATE box on his MA Tax Return.

“My understanding is that the big cost everyone “in Hollywood” is avoiding are the unions there. And it’s been like that for over 40 years.”

I believe it was the workers (excluding actors) that were the reason for the original story; they were facing tough times.

Then why does she just not DONATE MORE MONEY to the IRS. She could pay the IRS for about 100 poor people, who will get Unearned Income tax instead.

Go to a national sales tax and RICH will pay more as they buy more expensive TOYS. That $200 K car sales tax would be a heck of a lot more than my $21 K car. Her 1 piece of jewelry at $10000 would cost more than my $100 gold cross in sales taxes. Plus it would catch all the Useless Nation tax dodgers, foreign visitors too. And the ILLEGAL INVADER! one we remove them from food stamps and welfare, etc.

I'll make it easy for Kristin Bell... rather than hire the expensive CPA’s Hollywood is known for using - go down to the mall and hire the guy at the card table next to the ‘cookie kiosk’.

Or just get off your bullsh*t high horse and SEND the IRS some extra cash...

Oh, and Kristin - this 'we should all pay more' meme was popular about 5 years ago... everyone's moved on ... you need to get a 'with it' PR person or look foolish.
