great idea. xsbro has to go there on occasion bc his company has wells they service up there. He stays in a man-camp, a somewhat primitive lodging the company has. there is $ to be made. i recall him saying the same about Utah some years back.
The man camps are getting more sophisticated, with 24 hours food service and all kinds of recreational activities.
When I went to ND in December I did get a room in the hotel in town. If that had been booked up, I would have been in one of the man camps.
looks nice.
They have to attract and retain workers, so it only makes sense to have good housing facilities. Being able to eat at any time and having everything indoors is nice.
I still liked having my own hotel room better.
It is 50 here and sunny-the days are near 70, but the nights are still around 40...
Obama makes daily speeches
Contain little of reality
They are mostly sciolism,
Which almost anyone can see
He probably composes them
Golfing almost every day-
What he’s really thinking
Is where next he will play
He doesn’t seem to realize
What this does to his fame-
Rome is burning, but Obama
Is outside playing a game...
yes, dorm living is not preferable by any means. i read something a few yrs ago about an entrepreneur who eomehow rigged up portable shower stalls in a semi truck and rented them out for guys coming off the fields to be able to shower up. i imagine there may be less need for it now that things are popping there, but at the time it was a huge boon for guys to be able to pay $25 or whatever he charged for them to shower up.
And he’s not even very good at it, for as often as he plays. A+ for you. It’s in the 50s here for the first day of Spring. They promised us good weather all week and it hasn’t materialized.
Dunno, but it is getting tiresome with these talking Cableheads “scio-boating” on the topic...
(And by the way, that loud BOINNNG sound you heard about an hour ago was the beginning of Spring at 12:57 PM EDT ;)
if SU beats Western Michigan {no sure thing], they will play Dayton next. Ohio state just lost.
Get out!
Party time in Dayton tonight!
Thank you!
A neighbor I met while hiking this morning said he had heard some commentator say he thought the grabbing of flight 370 was a dry run for an attack. With difficulty, I kept a straight face and said well, that didn’t work out well, did it? After a short pause, he started laughing, and said he hadn’t realized how dumb that was. But it isn’t any wilder than most of what is being said, aliens and all...
Indeed! One of xshubs best friends went to u Dayton law school and his wife went there undergrad, so will be interesting matchup if SU can advance. NOTHING is a given
And Warren Buffet’s billion is safe.
Or it is the first phase of an attack.
He had a billion on Dayton?
I don’t think so, unless they managed to get the plane to an undisclosed hangar in some terror-friendly country and are holding it for future use-and that isn’t looking likely right now, unless that debris in the ocean is nothing from an airliner.
Also, dropping the plane into the ocean is an awfully expensive screwup, even if it did kill a bunch of people, because now, everyone’s ears are up, and airports are going to be operating on what amounts to paranoia for awhile.
His “Quicken Loans” was running a contest for $1 billion for a perfect bracket.
According to the official rules, the exact odds of a perfect bracket are 1:9,223,372,036,854,775,808, or 1:9.2 quintillion, which has 18 total zeros and is three levels higher than a billion.
Participants have better odds of winning the Powerball lottery at 1:125 million, and if everyone on Earth filled out 100 brackets in theory it could take 13 million years for one perfect bracket to emerge, as reported by USA Today.
Thought I read megyn Kelly had someone saying plane was in Pakistan?
