Not getting annual PAPs has EVERYTHING to do with this becoming a serious medical issue. HPV is an extremely common and almost always benign virus that will be picked up by a PAP smear. It usually clears up on its own but if it doesn't there are steps to take.

HPV related throat/mouth cancers is very rare and it happens mostly in immuno compromised people and smokers who blow off annual testing.

Women need to get their annuals done, period.

insurance companies no longer pay for yearly paps in most patients without a hx of disease.....

I've noticed that a lot of diagnostics are being spaced further apart after the elites decide its not necessary anymore and coincidentally, most of these recommendations affect women only....fewer pap smears, fewer mamograms.

we do get all those abortions though....:(
