The bloodied DJ wasn't exactly sure what it was he had played to make her so upset, and called 911.

Maybe he should have dialed 411.

Barry Manilow, perhaps?

The only other music that triggers such a reaction from me is Disney’s “ It’s a Small Small World”

If she was the person who PLANNED the party, she should ask the DJ what he will be playing. I mean if I was planning a formal party, and the DJ played ‘Who let the dogs out?’, I’d be upset, too.

Perhaps it is a Yoko Ono singing. You all have to admit that can make any person resort to violence. =)

There are plenty of songs that never seem to end, one in particular by Sheryl Crow about the sun that is about three minutes too long.

I told my son that when he gets married that the DJ better not play music that sucks at the reception. And I told him that under no circumstances will I tolerate the DJ playing Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen!!!!

[The actual words in English of the Diabolical French song Dominique sung by Jeanine Deckers, "The Singing Nun."]

It is the song that never never never ends.
It just goes on and on.
It will get in your brain,
It will drive you quite insane,
It's the never ending song.

It's the song that will not end.
It will send you round the bend ...
... because ...

Slightly more info about the incident including a pic of the DJ. No pic of the perp.

The DJ will not play your request. Please don't punch him.

Actually, it’s St. Paddy’s day. Never St. Patty’s. Paddy is the common nickname for Padraig, the Irish/Gaelic equivalent of Patrick. There are numerous Irish songs, reels, jigs, and hornpipes with Paddy in the title i.e. “Paddy On The Turnpike,” “Paddy In London” etc.

Rather Richie than Bobby Goldsboro. Having to listen to “Honey” or “Watching Scotty Grow” could cause a full-scale riot. “Muskrat Love” by the Captain and Tennille would be another mayhem inducer.

The verb “singing” should never be used with the noun “Yoko Ono.”

It would have been hazardous for him to play The Chicken Dance, the Macarena, or YMCA.

It all started when the 34-year old Madison woman began yelling about the DJ's song selection

Instead of yelling, she should have made a polite request, saying "Please, Mr. Disc Jockey..."
