The worst joke may be the failure of a GOP-e majority to undo this mess

IMO the GOP has had some golden opportunities to take a stand against Obama’s excesses to extract some meaningful concessions. In war and politics you can’t fight every skirmish; you have to choose your battles when there’s a reasonable chance for victory. But Republicans choose to do nothing but grumble. And they wonder why nobody respects them.

So very true. The House should have stopped doing ANYTHING legislatively, and a few Senators could have shut the Senate down until the ACA mess was repealed or effectively undone/defanged. Cruz tried, but had the rug pulled out from under him. Of course, 0bama and the dems are doing a fairly good job of undoing it themselves, by delaying/canceling the 'unpopular' aspects of it, which could ruin it long term. That's no substitution for a repeal though, because any president can restart the whole thing on a whim.

Its hard ot get them to do anything when he has their NSA blackmil files or handing out stuffed envelopes or earmarks. Until you get the right type of people in office nothing will happen. Term limits is one of the answers.

Not "failure", complete unwillingness due to gutless, ballless POS's passing as "leadership". Imagine the level of cowardice one must have to be unwilling to repeal something 80% of the country agrees should be eliminated. Absolutely pathetic.
