David Egan, a 16 year-old from Parkview High School in Lilburn, Georgia was beaten so badly in the locker room that his nose was dangling from his face. The Blaze reported:
It was all over a pair of missing tennis shoes.
David Egan, 16, was confronted by another 16-year-old male student in their high school locker room apparently over the missing shoes — and then Egan was beaten so severely by the unnamed student that he needed reconstructive surgery to reattach his nose to his skull.
The brutal assault was captured by other students and posted on the internet.

The boy’s father said his son would not be returning to the school. The school never called 911 after the attack.

Charges have been filed after a student was punched in the face at school, and it was all caught on video.
Wednesday afternoon, a Gwinnett County father reached out to 11Alive News to show us a video of his son being punched in the face at his Gwinnett County high school.
David Egan is a sophomore at Parkview High School. His father, Daniel, says the student was leaving weight lifting class Tuesday morning when he was confronted by another student in the locker room, accused of stealing his tennis shoes.
11Alive News has not been able to contact the student who threw the punch to hear his side of what happened leading up to the incident, however, according to Gwinnett Schools PIO Sloan Roach, the student was charged with battery.

Lose funding? The school is going to get it’s ass sued off. Where were the teachers responsible for this area?
And the attacker is going to face both criminal and civil cases. Hope his daddy/mommy have got some cash, otherwise he’s going to be working to personally pay off a large lawsuit for many years.
I don’t know why one “community” lets another “community” do this to them on a daily basis. It’s amazing to me...

Always being the tallest in class, I was always picked on and usually by the smallest kid.
One day in 10th grade the bully was waiting with belt in hand. I had to pass him to go home.
Something in my head snapped.
I grabbed his belt, tore it into pieces, got him in a headlock and proceeded to pound his face in.
Then I dragged him to the dean’s office (dean was my confirmation sponsor since Dad was playing the organ at church).
Something just snapped in my head from years and years of being bullied. Was never bullied again in my life.
I tend to agree with this assessment. There are suitable punishments for certain crimes that just aren’t being used;I suspect because of defense lawyers or bleeding heart judges. Some of these punishments were things that I understand were used in the early days of this country. Stocks,public whippings,things like that.
I have some friends who lived in Lilburn from 1992 until 2013. Their daughter attended Shiloh H.S., which is now a total ghetto hole. They now live in Canton, in Cherokee County, which has not been invaded by the Atlanta ghetto population the way Gwinnett County has. Hopefully, it never will be since it’s farther out from downtown.

May the attacking family needs to find a new place to live. I don’t know how to get that accomplished, but good luck to the dad of the beat child.
From a self defense point of view, this kid never had his guard up, even after the first punch. Protect your self at all times.
Bully gets comeuppance or is excessive white privilege at play here ? Any guesses when Sharpton or Jackson will chime in ?
