In today’s life affirming video news, a two-legged dog runs joyously across the sand in his first trip to the beach.

Duncan Lou Who runs like the wind, chasing after a GoPro camera operated by staff from Panda Paws Rescue.

The boxer dog had to have his deformed back legs amputated when he was a puppy, and while he has a wheelchair he prefers to sprint around on his front legs.

When the dog’s inspiring story was an online hit last year, Amanda Giese, of Panda Paws Rescue in Vancouver, Washington state in the US, said: ‘For those who said I was an animal abuser for removing his severely deformed legs to give him a chance, for those who sent me hate mail and doubted this boy, suggesting we should just euthanise him – you are wrong.

‘Thank goodness this baby boy landed in our loving home!’

That is absolutely astonishing! That dog gets around better than most 4-legged critters. Truly uplifting video.

That dog really enjoys life.

A good lesson for us all.

Amazing. Wonderful.

(Have to ask - how go potty? This is a serious question since my own dog has encountered mechanical problems. 1 thing that is difficult with a crippled dog is how to potty.)

As far as I can tell, tilt the body at the appropriate angle and cut loose. (It looked a bit like Duncan was using his tail to make a tripod, but that may be my imagination.)
