RE: What I want to know is, how freakin’ rich is Alyson Hannigan???
Seven years as a main character on Buffy, plus the American Pie movies, plus this series, she’s got to be rolling in it.

Not that rich by Hollywood standards if this site is to be believed:

Her net worth is “only” $18 Million.
SAlyson Hannigan “only” earns a salary per episode of $225,000 on How I met Your Mother.
Barney's half-brother on the show is a homosexual, with a partner, and a child.
I always wondered how they compute those net worth amounts. Not doubting the numbers necessarily, just wondering. Seems like there would have to be a lot of assuptions regarding spending and royalties.
Legendary? People will be telling the story 4 generations from now?
Please. A Fag playing a ladies’ man? Yeah, I guess that’s a campfire story.
That title belongs to "Two Broke Girls"
The character Barney (hetero on the show, homo in real life) has a brother who is homo.
Shows you how much I know about the show. I have not watched an entire episode. The most I know about the show is through commercials and TV guide.
"'How I Met Your Mother' had a very spooky consistency."
The first two seasons? I've never seen the show, but that's when the ratings were high. They've never been consistent by episode. As the visual graph of TV ratings show, the ratings have been in decline since the first year of the show, and the last 1-1/2 years have shown extreme inconsistency in ratings by episode.
I enjoyed the show, mind candy that it is.
It was like one of those "yuppies -- usually in a bar" shows that NBC was always sticking in between Friends and Seinfeld.
You know, the Single Guy or Conrad Bloom-type clones that never lasted very long.
They got lucky. Being on a lowbrow outlet like CBS probably helped.
Great show. Funny. Posters here have no sense of humor.
Certainly one of the worst.
I’ve seen that movie. It was OK but it was just too damn long.
