I used to know a guy who said he liked the way it made his head warm ... a very bad sign if you ask me. Said man has had several strokes over the last few years.
“.....lead investigator Dr. Ankur Vyas of University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.....”
“We only found an association, so we can’t say that diet drinks cause these problems,” Vyas said. “It’s too soon to tell people to change their behavior based on this study; however, based on these and other findings we have a responsibility to do more research to see what is going on and further define the relationship, if one truly exists.”

Weight Watchers has never been that big on exercise. They’ve been criticized for that. It’s a good organization; one of the best weight-lose programs in America.
Good morning miss marmelstein:
The leader at my meeting is big on exercise. It was the topic this week and he dedicated the entire meeting to it. That also means that the rest of WW all over the place did too.
There was even an attempt to organize in some way--a "meet and walk."
Success WAS mixed. :o)
A couple of WW folks mentioned it too. ONE was a young man and the other was the usual customer, a 60-something white woman...just like me.
However, there wouldn't BE so many overweight women like me if we did walk a little more. Getting my big fat butt OFF the couch has to be as much of a habit as sinking down ONTO the couch is. Duh.
However, I'm slowly getting over my funk (deaths in family) and daily walks are creeping back into my life.
I think you’ve accurately pointed out the reasons why this is more likely correlation versus causation.
And you beat me to it.
