And you think you’ve had a hard day.
When’s son was in his early 20’s he was a surveyor for a construction company. One day he was clearing brush with a chainsaw and holding ID down with his foot when he misjudged how near he was to the back of his foot and cut through his boot and severed his Achilles’ tendon. He said it didn’t hurt that bad, the thing that surprised him was the way it felt like the tendon had lots of tension on it and it snapped like a huge rubberband.
“James Valentine was in a tree in Ross Township on Monday afternoon when he was struck in the neck by the saw”
Wow, the saw did that all by itself? I just HATE when that happens!
This happened to a relative of mine...only it “got” him diagonally right across his face. It also barely missed his carotid artery.
I cannot remember how long it took the reconstructive surgeons to put him back together...but within a couple of years you could barely see the scar. They did an amazing job.
My dad was a builder. EVERY time he would plug it in and fire up the skill saw the first time he would say pull the trigger for a second and say “It growls.” And most times he would comment “Been using these for 40 plus years - and they still scare me!”
A lberal politician is the most dangerous tool available to the general public. The chainsaw is a very distant second.
bungee cords

first it was SUV’s now it is chainsaws.
Hate it when that happens.
