Say what you will, but Persecutor Nifong had his thumb on the scale at every turn to obviate the possibility that no Duke Lacrosse Team member was identified. Basically he reduced the “lineup” down to the only guys who didn’t have a photo alibi that night - and made sure she fingered them. Can you say “Travesty?” I knew you could.

When you add binge drinking, these types of things come out. What is it about the culture of an elite university such as Duke that fosters this type of behavior? What does this type of news say about the academic culture at Havahd???

The only mystery left about this case if why the NC Attorney General, Democrat Roy Cooper, didn't prosecute Mangum for making a false report. If he had, her murder victim would be alive today. And you know what? Cooper is now thinking of running for Governor. Incredible.

For those whose memory needs refreshing read Until Proven Innocent by Stuart Taylor, written in 2007 and well documented account of the whole sordid event. It makes this Cohan character look like a credulous fool.
