I am through with him.
Bill who? Sheesh
O’Reilly, I’m sure. I was done with him a while ago.
What took you so damn long?
BOR cares about one thing and one thing only...
If it paid as well to be a complete liberal shrill...BOR would be first in line...
are you sure he said that? Maybe I wasn’t paying close enough attention...
O’Reilly. sorry about that.
Oh, "Ted Baxter." I was done with him awhile ago too.
I quit listening to him a decade ago when he was ranting against the ‘white’ private high school proms being held in Georgia towns.
Ironically, while he was railing against the ‘white’ private proms, several private ‘black’ proms were also being held. But he chose to ignore them.
Ugh, I was finished with this slob when he ‘evolved’ on homo marriage. Some Catholic. He also has attacked ‘right wing talk radio!’ before. A blowhard in the extreme.
I am in that ready to sleep mode. BOR said that the powers that be have better sense than its citizenry in so many words. Review his opening comment.
I gave up on him years ago. He’s more interested in being invited to the insider Washington cocktail parties than speaking the truth.
Blowhard O’Blowhard is as worthless as Soetoro.
I apologize to each one of you for posting in my state of near sleep. I just could not let this one slip away.
He has no ideological compass. He’s all over the political map.
Pete King said basically the same thing.
I was done with that gasbag long ago. Welcome to the club. ;)
Who knew Gennifer Flowers was a FReeper....
Same here. He’s all over the map. NO convictions.
My only response to all of what is going on is be prepared my FRiend.
What took so long?
We abandoned Ted Baxter last year. Just can’t listen to his BS anymore.
I can’t believe I stood in a line to get him to sign a book onece. :-)
To be honest, I don’t know. Tonight was the eye opener.
I’m through with threads about Bill
I don’t think there are too many fans here either.
I Oreally have to go to sleep now. Thanks to all of you who have responded.
Good night and God bless.
CC take care.
“”are you sure he said that? Maybe I wasnt paying close enough attention...””
I was sitting at the computer but could hear Ralph Peter’s voice so I went out to the living room to see what was going on....I didn’t hear Bill say that but I will turn it on again at 11 EDT and check it out. Have to admit he can be aggravating but he’s still preferable over so many others...better than a female screeching or shouting!
If he said that he is through.
OK, I apologize. It was the pickled herring underarm deodorant, wasn’t it?
I didn’t see the O’R Factor tonight (I’m watching it less and less as time goes on myself) but I just played the “Top Story” segment from tonight and the discussion afterwards on the oreillyfactor.com website.
At no time during the entire 8 minute opening comment and discussion afterwards, did I hear O’Reilly say anything close to approving the government seizure of guns, at Ft. Hood or anywhere else. He said quite the opposite. Col. Peters did give a lucid, rational 4-point reason why solders shouldn’t be walking around the post armed with guns, but O’Reilly said nothing about the government seizure of guns.
I think you misunderstood, misheard or were just not paying attention. You may still want to quit watching O’Reilly for a host of other reasons, but your claim about what he said tonight is incorrect.
Welcome to the club. I kicked dirt on that POS and moved on. He’s just another Lou Dobbs type turn-coat.
Oh, so am I. He’s going to be 20 on Sunday, and I’m just not being paid enough to do his dishes and laundry and the lights on until 2 a.m. every night.
If only someone would offer him a job and an apartment!
get lost you drunk!!!
http://www.foxnews.com/on-air/oreilly/index.html#/v/3428364803001 Not what he said; in fact, Colonel Ralph Peters came out against arms on base.
“I quit listening to him a decade ago when he was ranting against the white private high school proms being held in Georgia towns.
Ironically, while he was railing against the white private proms, several private black proms were also being held. But he chose to ignore them.”
This has been going on for years. The white kids want to hear their music and the black kids want to hear their music. It is a mutual thing. Nothing racist or exclusionary, just want different types of music. Only an issue to hyperventilating liberals.
Hmmm....I actually heard it differently. He said in a free society you can never stop this sort of thing, however in China you can because they are not free.
Although I’ve been wrong before.
You know who *really* made me mad during that segment? Ralph Peters.
He doesn’t know anyone in the military who wants soldiers armed on bases?? My FB feed BLEW UP with soldiers who definitely want just that.
He kept going on about how this murderer would’ve had an automatic (gasp!) weapon instead of a handgun.
My husband and I were going over the possibilities that would make everyone comfortable. Senior NCO’s and officers could carry handguns as part of their uniform, if they went out and got their CCL training on their own dime. That seemed like a good compromise. (They have to get motorcycle training on their own dime, and in their own time, to ride a bike on post)
So, no. I haven’t heard a military man say that he wants everyone running around with automatic rifles. That would be a PITA. But handguns, yes.
Their other ‘solution’ was to put more money into mental health. O’Reilly did bring up the fact that this guy *was* being treated. It was already known that he had problems.
Oh, and BTW, we’ve had the guns confiscated of soldiers that were found to be suicidal or homicidal. As soon as there’s a known threat, that’s reported and dealt with.
We’re not going to stop crazy. Society isn’t going to stop crazy. Those people are out there and always will be. People have found creative ways to attack and kill their fellow man long before guns came along.
What took you so long? I dropped him years ago because he is the most arrogant, egotistical person on TV.
