I wish you could use f.lux on an iPad without hacking it. I run the PC and Mac versions.
A 21 year habit and now they tell me.
People should know to NEVER jailbreak your Apple iOS device - or else you seriously compromise the security of your device!
It takes a lot of time for all that undesired content to load.
But I have a question. Don’t TVs have the same Blue Light? Wonder why they don’t list watching TV before going to bed, which I would dare say most people do, as being a problem?
A simple solution I have been using at night with my ipad is to wear orange lens sunglasses. I have noticed a significant change in my ability to fall asleep at night since I started wearing them at night to watch TV or use my ipad. I have f.lux on my desk computer, but do not want to hack my ipad to put it on there.
I bought the glasses on Amazon for under $10.
I pestered a guy I know at Apple to get it into the App Store as a result of this thread. And I’m not talking an Apple Store Genius here. Still, I doubt it will do any good, but I feel better about it!
His reply implied he was already familiar with f.lux and likes it.
Its true. I very rarely get more than five hours a night now. It is not good. Most people cannot do that for long without serious consequences.
I just started using flux. I havent noticed any difference yet.
