YES. Bumblebee Tuna in the gold cans! Costco’s brand is OK but this is the best!

I gave up on the tuna.

Now we get the Costco canned chicken instead of tuna. It is excellent! It’s consistently good and tastes better than the tuna. No mercury either.

Tuna? Who the H E double hockey sticks can afford tuna?

We are all supposed to be happy with liver pate cat food on matzo bread.

It’s the Dolphin in it that makes it chunky.

Yes,...I agree. Canned tuna and salmon are both better packed in oil. Years ago I also remember getting canned boned chicken packed in broth...it was a simple delight...and you can’t find it amy more....all boned chicken, it seems, is packed in water....WHY????

The quality for tuna in the less expensive cans is really going down. I just use it for tuna salad sandwiches now.

Jeff , I feel your pain . I love chunk light tuna and I noticed several years ago the quality of all the name brand tuna was going downhill. Today it is terrible. Nothing but threads of tuna. Pure mush ! I have found that( usually ) buying store brand tuna is the way to go. My favorite ones are Best Yet , 3 Diamonds , Sure Fine and Safeway brands. All are way better than the “ big 3 “. BB , COTS and SK. Hope I could help. Good luck to you.

Tuna in foil packages is what you’re looking for...much fresher.

Tuna mush is an acquired taste.

That said BumbleBee Solid White Albacore packed in oil is the best of the canned stuff.(imho)

Wow, delayed reaction responses. I had to go back and refresh my memory on the post.

I no longer eat tuna sandwiches; I buy tuna steaks in vacuum packages.

I can get them at Fry's (Kroger) and they are amazing.

The last time I had one Mrs. Chandler fried it with sea scallops in bacon grease.

I love that woman.
