The old word was that Bobcats could not be dependably domesticated but larger Ocelots (Latin American) did make good pets. Ocelots are very beautiful as well. Bobcats are nice looking but not like Ocelots.
I used to have a cute little cat that sometimes would simply sit and stare at me for a long time. Now I understand what she was likely thinking-—”I wish I was a Lynx”.
