“Nouveau riche” is a common pejorative for such people.

If life were fair, Barry Soetoro would be delivering pizzas to the White House.

That is because you are sophisticated....MSNBC calls those of us with a southern accent “stupid”.

Don’t say “snow” or any cold stuff, pleeease-Spring is here right now-62 and sunny...

Obama’s arriviste minions
Think everything is a perq-
They expect to have them
Without doing any work

They believe they’re elevated
Instantly into high society-
And pretend they never heard
That French word “bourgeoisie”

Or maybe translate it into
Regular English this time-
They can play society trash
But don’t do it on our dime...

I knew a guy who was making a very modest income, yet he would splurge on his wardrobe like he was Donald Trump. His wife once remarked: “He does that because he thinks who the hell he is.” Just like our Fearless Leader.

I’d like to say “arrivederci” to the arriviste in the White House.

The arriviste landed in the White House,
dragging his caviar eating spouse,
He brought his change,
with a case of mange...
and he’s become a superior louse.

Thank you!

My first husband and I knew a couple who were both like that-we were all young, with little extra money and small kids, but their respective wardrobes screamed designer labels. The wife even had thunder thighs, and liked flower prints, just like the first fashion disaster.

My husband imitated the way the guy walked for my amusement-chest out, strutting-glue feathers on his head and ass, and you would have had a real peacock-also like the grifter-in-chief...

She was campaigning, so the fools that donated to the campaign footed the bill. Now we are.

Bet their supporters will make her an inside joke for years after the first grifters move to Hawaii-the first wife of a candidate to ever destroy a campaign budget by eating-hell, I’ll bet she is worse than Chris Christie...

I guess at least one person is having a surreal day-must be the DJ at the classic rock station-

“Oh let the sun beat down upon my face, stars to fill my dream
I am a traveler of both time and space, to be where I have been
To sit with elders of the gentle race, this world has seldom seen
They talk of days for which they sit and wait and all will be revealed

Talk and song from tongues of lilting grace, whose sounds caress my ear
But not a word I heard could I relate, the story was quite clear
Oh, oh

Oh, I been flying-mama, there ain’t no denyin’
I’ve been flying, ain’t no denyin’, no denyin’

All I see turns to brown, as the sun burns the ground
And my eyes fill with sand, as I scan this wasted land
Trying to find, trying to find where I’ve been”...

I find it hard to believe anyone would pay someone as lacking in social graces that much at any job-they must have needed to fill their quota of females with law degrees...

It was 300 gr. None of it deserved and the position was not filled when she left.

My youngest plays that on violin. Every head in the studio starts to bob in time, and you can hear other rooms pick up on the vibe and play along.
