Obama, the smartest person ever, is only five years into his term as Ruler of the Free World, so we have at least 20 years of absolute security to look forward to, with him making all those pesky decisions so we don't have to. The Constitution is so 18th century. Now that we have finally left that old scrap of parchment behind, there is nothing to restrain our Leader or to prevent him from doing as he knows he must for our own good.

In “The Giver” trailer, there is a terrifying line straight out of liberal theology. Meryl Streep, I believe, utters it, which makes it all the more apt.
“When people are given a choice, they make the wrong one. So we do not give them one.”
