Two people were shot to death and 14 others were wounded in city shootings from Friday afternoon into Saturday morning.
The most recent homicide happened about 9:25 p.m. Friday in the 2700 block of East 76th Street in the South Shore neighborhood on the South Side, police said. A 37-year-old man, who has not yet been officially identified, sustained "multiple" gunshot wounds and died on a front porch of a frame home on that block.

Chicago has so much violence of this nature.
Chicago has been run by Democrats for generations.
When you look at cities such as Chicago, Detroit, and many others, all run by Democrats for generations, you have to wonder why these places have so many problems.
After all, if Democrat policies are the answers to our societal problems, and in these places, Democrats have no serious political opposition to implementing their Democrat policies, then why do these places have such severe social pathologies????
Yup, that’s why I warned about connecting the low crime rate with the new concealed carry law.
Its just too soon to see any real effect. The crime rate in Detroit is coming down but its taken years for open carry and SYG laws to have a measurable effect.

It looks like it is the mid-upper 60’s in Chicago this weekend. This is just a preview of what is to come in the summer when it is that warm at night.
Typical working class, voting conservative types will not tolerate places like Chicago or Detroit and flee elsewhere.
Many of the folks that have ambition levels of zero and IQ’s only a few points higher stay because of the democrat handouts. Democrat policy does more to encourage violence than it does to stop it.
Hmmm... Before reading the article my first thought was Chicago.

Every winter here the murder rate drops. The gang bangers don’t like the cold. The crime rate drop has more to do with the fact that we’ve had such a brutally cold winter.
When the temperature gets back above sixty degrees or so on a consistent basis, there will be a HUGE spike in the number of murders in Chicago. That’s what happens every year here.
Conceal carry has been here a few short months, it’s way too early to attribute anything to it.
I say this as a CCW holder living in the Chicago area and working in the city. Those of you who do not live here don’t know what you’re talking about.
