In a traditional spring, various species of pollinating trees and flowers bloom sequentially over a period of about 2½ months, said Estelle Levetin, who has studied airborne pollen since 1980. If spring is delayed, more plants pollinate all at once, creating a shorter but more intense season that can exacerbate symptoms for people who are allergic. “This year we had an unusually cold winter that lasted longer than normal, and that set back pollen release significantly,” said Levetin, a biology professor at the University of Tulsa. “Each individual plant is not pollinating much more than normal. We’re just having a lot of plants pollinate simultaneously.”

Global Warming
It’s bad down here in the south; on this Palm Sunday our pastor opened up the service with “Welcome to Pollen Sunday”.
I’ve heard the allergies are so bad in some places that the meth dealers have been turning their meth back into pseudoephedrine.
Nothing a hard frost and some snow won’t take care of. And it looks like that is coming to the NE in a few days.
Oh goodie, now we get the “Global Sneezing” flank at the UN wanting additional Global Cause D’jour money.
This being said however, the giant shade trees lining our streets cut the utility bills in half during the summer.
Isn't life all about taking the good with the bad? Or is that Global Climate Change too?
Sue the Algore for causing hoax of Global Warming to cool down too much due to accelerated limitation on carbon production. Dying trees are next due to reduced amount of CO2 and as a result of that, people will be dying due to lack of oxygen produced by no trees, by shortage of CO2, by Algore criminal tax extorting “Globull change/warming”.
