Today I was listening to Dennis Prager's show during lunch and he kept saying how hated the Jews are that so many countries in the world wish to exterminate Israel, and have wished to throughout all of history.
He would keep saying, I'll tell you after this commercial break why I think the Jews are so hated. Then he would go on talking some more about why there were so hated.
At 1:50, I had to be back at my office, and he still hadn't stated why he believes the Jews are so hated. Did anyone listen to the end of his show today to see if he ever gave what he thinks the reason is?
Its mostly in Europe but I really don’t understand it.
It is true that during past economic problems in Europe, the Jewish people banded together to help each other.
It might be simple “They have more money”.
The Jewish people DO value Quality education more than others.
That could be part of it, but I don’t think that still explains it. They often have more money, but the Jews in Fiddler on the Roof were really poor and still they were persecuted.
Jews represent capitalism.

It’s a combination of things:
- religious reasons.
- lack of assimilation or surrender to the dominant culture.
- association (real or imagined) between Jews and disliked groups in society.
- economic or clout envy.
- real or imagined avarice associated with Jews.
- assumptions about Jews being parasites, persecutors, exploiters, or clannish self-seekers in regard to the non-Jewish population.
- assuming individual unsavory examples of the Jewish population are directly representative of the entire Jewish population (e.g. one jerk - who happens to be Jewish - is thought to be representative of all Jews).
That covers it rather completely.

So only socialists and populists hated Jews? Henry Ford might have been paternalistic to his workers, but he was most definitely capitalist and anti-Semitic at the same time.
You pretty much summed it up. Dead on.
So try to answer why they are the ONLY major voting block to CONTINUALLY vote against their interests? They SHOULD vote Republican if they want to keep their (very) hard-earned money, but they keep voting Democrat...the same people that would send them to the NAZI Death Camps, if they were still in operation.
Jewish people are different. Different religion, traditions, language, sometimes looks. To some people, that's too foreign and weird and intimidating.
They also have a heavy influence in their culture on education and making something of yourself. Those who don't want to bust their ass to become a success are the ones who become them resentful, hence the "tight Jew" jokes.
And third, Jews have always been persecuted, exiled, picked on .... and there are many among us who would gladly pile on to join in the persecution.
To sum up, human nature at its worst is what makes people "hate" the Jews. I get it, but I don't subscribe to it and never will.
Satan hates the Jews, because salvation came through the Jews. Yeshua was from the shoot of Jesse. Satan tried to stop God’s plan of salvation from the very beginning. Now that Satan has lost that war, he still wants to punish and murder the Jews.
Satan hates anything that is favored or loved by G_d and the Jews are his chosen people:
(God’s Word affirms that the Jews are God’s chosen people: “You are a people holy to the Lord your God. The Lord your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession” (Deuteronomy 7:6).)
Stands too reason that the secular (Satan’s) world would hate the Jews, just as they hate Christians.
I always thought it was because they held themselves apart. It is simple human nature to take resentment at this, and once felt, everything feeds into it.
Simple! They are God’s chosen people!

If you follow the Bible, the Jews are “God’s chosen people” and the devil resents the Jews and drives other men to hate them.
They are God’s CHOSEN PEOPLE!
They are not perfect, but they are CHOSEN.

Hatred for the Jews has its origin in the chief of the evil spirits.

Historically they were an easily identifiable, somewhat culturally insular minority; they were “the other,” so it was easy for people to project all their woes onto them. When things go wrong in life, nobody wants to admit to being the asshole, and if you have a ready made scapegoat available well then all you have to do is point the finger rather than work through your own issues. It’s why the “Palestinians” have been and continue to be such a mess. A analogous situation exists in certain parts of America re: the Hated White Male.
Like other posters have mentioned, the Jews are God’s chosen people. If Satan could get them annihilated, that would make God a liar (remember His promises to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob) and the death of Jesus of no avail to humankind.
