High school senior forms petition with over ONE THOUSAND signatures against Michele Obama speaking at their high school graduation 'because it would overshadow the students' big day' Taylor Gifford, 18, started an online petition on Thursday with over 1,200 signatures asking that Michelle Obama not speak at Topeka High School graduation Obama's speech is tied to the 60th anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court's decision in Brown v. More like, even the kids have had enough of this regime.
You people gotta like being props for the mooch’s soapbox.

Sounds like some good, smart kids ..
Can you imagine what a distraction this would to their solemn occasion?
(In spite of all of the other things that’s wrong with it!)
What she gonna do talk about the promise of the future? jobs?
These students have worked all their lives for this moment and obviously do not want that overshadowed by Michelle and the 60th anniversary of Brown v. Board of Education.
From the article:
Obama’s speech is tied to the 60th anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision in Brown v. Board of Education outlawing segregation in schools
After reading that I’m pretty sure she is gonna call everybody a racist and talk about how rough she has it.
Correct, that is why it was reported in the UK!
I’m wondering how big this graduating class is and what the percentage of signers was. I didn’t see that in the story.
I’ll pay 1000 bucks to the kid who smuggles in an “Impeach Baraq” bumper sticker, affixes it to his grad cap, and struts across the stage with it facing the audience....
“...and others feel limited seating will be a problem...”
Really? Oh come on now...Michelle’s butt ain’t THAT big.
These are domestic terrorists!(/s)
Arrowhead Stadium (cap 79,000 plus however many chairs they put on the field) is only 70 miles down the road.
Surely it would accomodate MooseChelle’s legions of fans.
Or her posterior, but not both at once.
That’s exactly what it is, they are smart enough to know this is going to be used as propaganda for her and her husbands agenda while they are completely ignored. If Michelle *really* wanted to make an interesting speech, she should agree to talk about how Brown V. Board was completely opposed by DEMOCRATS.
I would suspect that kids from Topeka don’t go to Arrowhead Stadium for any reason. Closer one would be at KU in Lawrence.
But that’s all beside the point. Some of these high schools are arch rivals and enemies in sports and certainly don’t want to share their limelight with kids they don’t know or if they do know them don’t like them.
Doesn’t matter if they got 100,000 signatures. The head duffus will have her there anyway.
Bring a basket of rotten veggies and fruit to throw at the Wookie.
Apparently tickets are limited to four per family if moochelle is to opens her trap at the graduation.
Total enrollment at Topeka is 1,840 students. I imagine the Senior class is about 460.
So 70% of the entire student body does not want here there. Does anyone think that will matter?
Starting to sound like they may only need one of those old bi-fold door telephone booths to accommodate her fans.
