I do not like the non-taste of storebought eggs-I thank myself most fortunate to be able to just call a neighbor, walk down the road and get 1/2 dozen tasty fresh eggs-I never need a dozen, just for me. And I look forward to the day soon to come when I have my own poultry.

No internet in our housing.
But we do have a satellite tv, so we can watch the Penguins suck.

Maybe you’ll get a better coach next year.

Xsboy called from his friend’s apt in Manhattan. They are going to get something to eat and hang out for a bit. Better than being in a hotel room alone worrying about the interview tomorrow.

And the threefold singing of the Paschal Troparion is the ultimate reiteration:
Christ is Risen from the dead,
trampling down death by death,
and upon those in the tombs, bestowing life!

That is correct. Thank you.

xsfiance was wondering where the Easter Bunny and eggs thing came from and how it became associated with Easter, none of us knew. So nobody knew about the fertility goddess Ishtar (pronounced Easter) and the pagan festival that happened about the same time as Passover (so therefore also about the same time as the Crucifixion and Resurrection) and the bunnies and eggs relation to the fertility goddess?

As far as I’m concerned, unless it is a lingerie shower or a hardware and tools shower, there is no reason for a man to be there.
To: VRWCmember
