I have a HD-less laptop with a 16 gig nub flashdrive and Slax Linux build. It’s awesome and very fast.

Would in not best if we had a consumer ready System V / BSD dirivitive that played well will all the Linux offerings and supported the Intel Architecure at the hardware level...well, it becomes convoluted at this point, but I wish Apple would embrace the IA soon and take over the business market.

Most windows programs will, though I myself have one that will not run on Linux.

I have PCB express, Picbasic Pro, and MPLab IDE ; haven’t found a way to run these in Linux ....
Maybe set up a virtual window & run them in that?

If they won't run under
Wine, then your next best bet is to run them in a windows instance in a virtual environment.
