Barbara Winfrey can pinpoint exactly when her divorce turned more ugly than she had ever thought possible. It was Friday 2 November 2012, her sixty-fourth birthday, and the day she received the telephone call that turned the implosion of her marriage into an 18-month legal battle with one of the most powerful celebrities on the planet – her stepdaughter, Oprah Winfrey. Barbara listened as Oprah delivered her thunderous ultimatum: ‘You say I never talk to you? I want to talk to you now. You have until Monday to get out of MY house.’ Earlier this month Barbara was finally served with an eviction notice. She has until 29 May to vacate the $1.4million house just south of Nashville that was home throughout her 14-year union to Oprah’s father, Vernon Winfrey.

That goes beyond nasty. Never quite understood the Oprah phenomenon. But she sure rode it for all it was worth.

She used to claim to be a Christian, but has since embraced every New Age cuckoo who comes down the pike including Marianne Williamson, Deepak Chopra and Eckhart Tolle. Oprah is a truly messed-up individual who has turned her back on God and prefers to worship herself.
Oprah and her girlfriend went to texas in a rented Chevy Impala a few years ago durin her Texas beef....so to say....anyway.....she was in church, church mind ya and of course, was speakin.....and “ gave the congregation permission” to pray....
A friend went to her show taping in the 80s or 90s. There was a long segment with a crying guest who had lost his wife after a prolonged illness and he was crying and sobbing and Oprah was so tender and caring and comforting to him. Then “Cut” and they went to a commercial break. He said Oprah turned to the crowd and yelled, “Oooh, let me tell you about my weekend! It was wild!” All of a sudden her care went out the window.When they came back from break she was right back into the sadness again.
Over the past few years, Oprah’s image has been slowly crumbling. If only this woman said Oprah’s image was false, I would think this article was bogus. But I have seen others support what is asserted in this article. As with Obama the press only says good things about Oprah, but unlike Obama, people don’t care to dig into her background. From what I’ve been seeing lately, Oprah is a total fraud.

Quite possible. Seriously, that bulgy face isn’t healthy. To this old underwriter’s eye, he’s a bad risk.
I have no doubt she is a fraud, and has a narcissistic ego big enough to choke a whale.
But this involves both family and money and it can get really ugly for all involved for even the best of us at times, especially during a divorce. As my tagline suggests perhaps I should have dug deeper before posting, but having a few family members that I would come down on as hard as Oprah is if given the opportunity all I can say is there must be two sides to the story.
I wonder if Oprah will respond to this interview in kind.
