By the time they reach high school, nearly 20 percent of all American boys will be diagnosed with ADHD. Millions of those boys will be prescribed a powerful stimulant to "normalize" them. A great many of those boys will suffer serious side effects from those drugs. The shocking truth is that many of those diagnoses are wrong, and that most of those boys are being drugged for no good reason—simply for being boys. It's time we recognize this as a crisis.

Prior to John Dewey we had Classical Education (Objective Truth) in public schools although we had the start of the “Prussian” system, but which included the Bible and we believed the primary purpose of education (since Socrates) was to instill Virtue (Excellence).
Dewey destroyed that concept-—the purpose was “socialization”-—and forming “group think” into socialism/godlessness and destroying Christian Worldview. As someone who straddles the boundaries of the Gen-X/Millenial divide (Born in ‘79) I could only look on in astonishment and horror at the generation that came after me and see these hordes of androgynous emo freaks and I asked myself what is the cause? Now I know.
