Former Bundy guard Frank Lindysthe says it is all very troubling.
"They are now calling for militia. They're not in dug in positions, they are sitting on top of ridges. They don't have night vision capability," he said.
Lindysthe left the ranch in the middle of the night after at least two men tried joining the guard. He said the men made him uncomfortable.
"The people that are up there, they have a certain look about them. These are military. My belief is federal agents," he said.
Lindysthe feels the alleged federal agents are there to gather information on militia members and eventually conduct a raid.
"They're dirty. They're dirty," he said.

The next phase.
Oh yeah, the feds have infiltrated. They are going through their trash, they are just waiting to pounce.
Could be a listen closely moment, Patriots. Don’t Live Too Fast. Find Love!!! Don’t forget, there is Someone up above.
Trust this Prosecutor when I say ... groups like these have been infiltrated for YEARS. Saying “next” is like saying “science will next invent the wheel”. That’s been done so long ago no one is exactly sure when.
Are the feds infiltrating the ROP terrorist training camps throughout the USA?
Don’t forget this from yesterday:
***Harry Reid: Something Will Happen To Stop Rancher Cliven Bundy***
A question: where does the line get drawn between ‘heightened sense of alertness’ and ‘paranoia’? Can you really say someone has “that look” as a means of exclusion?
I know...it’s frustrating that we even have to discuss this because of our federal government.
Stay close Patriots! Stay close! No more being fooled, Never!!!
Leftists in the 60s used to joke that the member most eager to blow something up was usually the FBI infiltrator.
I know...its frustrating that we even have to discuss this because of our feral government."
With this administrations domestic policy

Would you expect anything less ... ??
I no longer can recognize the USA. It’s now not much different then the USSR. It will take a civil war to bring back America’s freedom and democracy.
You are right. I’ve been around, I mean I’ve read about militias for some decades now and this is nothing new.
“Randy Weaver was a typical American dad. He had a loving family, including his wife Vicky, one son named Sam and three daughters including a ten-month old baby. Like millions of other Americans, they were simple people who just wanted to be left alone. The family lived in a beautiful rural Idaho area called Ruby Ridge. For 18 months, various federal police agencies repeatedly intimidated Randy in an attempt to get him to work as an infiltrator for them to spy on the slew of religious, racial or separatist organizations popping up all over the American northwest.
Weaver repeatedly declined. Hed been to some of those gun shows and events out of curiosity if nothing else. While he was a typical proud white, Christian, husband, father and American, he was simply rubbed the wrong way by those organizations and didnt associate with them. That was probably one of the main reasons the FBI, BATF and US Marshals continued to pursue him as a hired spy. When Weaver continued to refuse, the agents suddenly turned their fury on him and his family.
First, they convinced him to customize a shotgun into a sawed-off shotgun, not illegal and a typical thing many gun owners do. But federal agents confiscated the gun and determined the barrel was one-quarter of an inch too short, and thus illegal”
Bill Ayers was an FBI agent?
It’s apparent that the left considers “just wanting to be left alone” to be a capital crime.
Correction noted...and yep.
Sad, pathetic, and sick tactics by our guv’t. Don’t let them in...you’re lives depend on it!
Just like the woman that recently was forced to hook up to city water even though she didn’t need it. They can’t have anyone living off the grid. It is considered suspicious activity now to pay with cash.
> Are the feds infiltrating the ROP terrorist training camps

They’re on the same side.
Why is this man telling us about it, when those whom he suspected should have been ‘more thoroughly checked’ by his peers, or silenced where they sat?
Infiltrators are nothing more than traitors, in my eyes.
Even scarier would be if they are there to start the fight and make it look like the patriots fired the first shot. It happened at the Boston massacre.
I bet there’s an infiltrator on this very thread, hijacking a real FReeper’s identity. Everyone that has posted anything here, make sure it is your post!
Buy a polygraph machine. Get some training. Poly all militia members every couple of years or so.
If they show deception or have ambiguous results do not allow them to join. That means booting some folks who just don’t poly well and it isn’t 100% - but it would eliminate most of the problem. Background investigations and other types of vetting can fill in the gaps.
Once you have a solid core then you start recruiting members who have access to various databases and communications networks. You reverse infiltrate. Set up your own secure communications networks. Structure your organization into military and political cadres. There are plenty of good communist manuals that cover these subjects.
You play the intelligence game. The big issue is that all of this takes serious money. But it isn’t rocket science.
Makes me sick that it has come to this.
Who’s watching your post...hmmm?
I’m skeptical about this guy’s report. I would bet a good deal of money that they are vetting thiese volunteers pretty closely before letting them on and around the ranch with weapons. Half the guys in the militias are former military.
I think the only way to prevent infiltration is by forming independent sleeper cells that are unknown to others, with limited membership in each cell consisting of people you have personally known for years. Although decentralized, some triggering event will be serious enough to activate cell response.
Like something right out of “Enemies Foreign and Domestic”.
Rest assured that all cell phones are tapped at all times, every word and text. Same with all landline connectivity.
DHS most probably has snipers on rotation in the hills as well.
I don't see how this can turn out well for the defenders UNLESS they can ID an infiltrator and make him talk. And, that's likely to trigger the assault.
Well, I think that is what a lot of this is about.
You don't send a swat team to confiscate some old man's cattle. This is a civil matter, he is not a criminal. This kind of abuse has to stop at some point.
This may be a story to sow seeds of doubt.
This time, the feds need an inside plant to fire the first round, so they can justify firing back.
Now would be the time to keep strangers out, and only stick to those you know.
I agree with your statements.
I also am former military, and anybody who did not know the latest q and a, were immediately under intense scrutiny.
(q and a, baseball, football, car races, etc.)
That’s a little harder to do, these days.
I don’t have any secrets, all I say and do is right out in front of God and everybody else.
"They" in this case was a BATF under cover individual who took two years to befriend Weaver. Living with and staying with the Weavers up in the mountains there in northern Idaho.
Weaver thought the guy was his friend and that year Weaver needed a little extra money for his family. He did not want to do this, he wanted to keep his shotgun, but since he needed some money and since he felt he could trust this individual he did so and cut the barrel where his "friend" indicated he wanted it cut.
The guy knew exactly what he was doing and knew that cut was too short and would make it illegal. it was the entire purpose of their "sting," on Weaver.
When the individual then revealed who he was working for, and asked again for Weaver to infiltrate said extremist groups but now using the threat of a crime to try and coerce Weaver, Weaver told him to go straight to hell and walked away.
We know what happened next.
