Considering all of his educational records are sealed, I’m inclined to believe they are lackluster at best.
He’s plainly a dolt and a stuffed shirt with an ego the size of an iceberg. The fawning over his intelligence is particularly galling.

I’m guessing he was in the 600 range for math and verbal , not bad but not the score that the Ivy Leagues usually accept.

Probably 800/800. I’m sure they probably just awarded him perfect scores based on affirmative action. You know, actually sitting and taking the test being so bourgeois and all.
Marie Pope, a classmate of his from Hawaii, said he always presented himself as a foreigner. She also said he was arrogant (seemed to think he was smarter than anyone) a cold user of people, a druggie, and gay.
She suspected he had help getting into the school since it was very odd he was allowed into the school as a middle grader. Apparently the school was hard to get into and most kids spent all their years there until they went to college.
He really hasn’t changed.
You beat me to it. My very first thought is he wouldn't take any test so it could never be used against him. My biggest wonderment is how did he get into Harvard Law? What were his grades? Oh, I forgot, he didn't need a Summa Cum Laude grade point.

I would guess about the same as you. He is not stupid and might be just a little bit above average but he is not really bright either. He does have a skill which many Blacks have. He can really BS his way through things.
I remember William F. Buckley debated a well known Black leader at a college forum. I think it was Stokely Carmicael but can’t be sure. Anyway every time the guy would say something the students would go wild with cheers and applause.
Buckley had no idea what was going on. The next day he and his friends went over the tape to see what was happening. It turned out the Black leader was simply talking double talk, BSing every thing he said.
It seems college students are mostly just sheep.

Yes Buckley was brilliant but when you put a brilliant debater against an idiot who just wows the crowd with everything he says, the genius just does not know what to say. It is so far out of his comfort zone that he has to figure out what is going on first.
