The federal government wants to extend its oversight of tobacco to include ... hookah...

Oh, this? It's just a bong for pot so it's OK.

Yes, crack down on the devil's weed! Tobacco.

Oh, POT? Well, we must legalize and tax, but otherwise leave COMPLETELY alone.

Effects on kids? Ha. It's "adorable" when a mom smokes a joint while holding her 3 year old.

A beer? What a terrible mother, lock her away.

Regulate MJ growers? I think NOT. Who cares about molds and fungus?

Marijuana experts and MSNBC thinks that it would be a complete outrage to even question involvement by the government.

State's rights. That's wholesome.

Gay marriage?

Wholesome, too.

If a state legalizes pot, good. Judges will uphold.

Gay marriage?

What is this "state's rights" you speak of?

These words? They have no meaning to me.

Hands off policy regarding hash oil, candied THC, etc. yet even “cartoon characters” cannot be used to advertise tobacco products.

Wrong is right. Down is up.

Obama is in the White Hut.

“The Food and Drug Administration proposal being issued Thursday would ban sales to minors and require approval for new products and health warning labels.”

I thought it was already illegal to sell to minors, and there were warning on packs of smokes, and chew/dip, cigars, etc.

“..require approval for new products..”

They need to expand their power in order to control, ban or tax e-cigs/liquid nicotine.

It’s all about money & power, NOT our health.

“Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.” ― C.S.
