Nothing's official yet, but it looks like Michael Vick will wear No. 8 with the New York Jets (apparently, it was down to No. 3 or No. 8). The former first-overall pick had donned No. 7 through the first 12 years of his NFL career with both the Falcons and Eagles (as well as at Virginia Tech, and high school before that), but with quarterback Geno Smith already wearing No. 7, Vick decided to pay homage to the team's last old southpaw signal caller, Mark Brunell.

It's a travesty.
Vick should be banned for cruelty to animals above and beyond the pale.
Vick tortures and kills dogs, goes to prison, then returns (as a felon) to his multimillion dollar per year professional football career. Sterling, in the heat of the moment, uses the N word in a private conversation (that was probably being taped illegaly as part of a set up)and gets banned from the NBA for life and forced to sell a half a billion dollars of his private property. Double standard much?
The only reason I watch the NFL now is to see Vick and hope that he gets a career ending injury. Anyone who does what he did should not get a pass to come back.
While that butcher of dogs (check the photos!) continues his inglorious career. America is becoming a sewer.

She was a part time whore—she only charged white guys.
This even rates a write up? Has been QB, with dog killing on his resume. The only significance the No. 8 is how many dogs Vick killed.
