The new Star Trek movies were amazing to watch just because they did such an excellent job of matching the younger actors with the old versions of characters we knew! I mean they did an amazing job!

There were so few channels when we were kids I thought you might have watched Star Trek.
oh i did, i mean i never saw any remakes of any sort. I wasn’t a huge fan but did watch it.
That is the only futuristic type of show I ever watched but and admit I didn’t care much about the plot, just liked the match ups because the movie was supposed to be the early life of those beloved characters and the guy who played Doc even looked like him! The actor playing a young James T. Kirk had his mannerisms down pat!
