If I had 2 Billion dollars & was an NBA owner..... (vanity)

....and they were trying to take my team away I would hire 29 teams of private dicks and investigate each of my fellow 29 owners to see if they have any skeletons in their past. Then I would have my team of lawyers depose them and their close associates.

I would start with the NBA commissioner, then Magic Johnson and then my fellow 29 owners.

The media probably won’t ask those questions. However, she will have to answer a lot of them during depositions. She won’t like it and there’s nothing she can do about it. Smart people should start backing away from her about now.

I like the idea, BUT if one is a progressive and a billionaire there is a screw loose.

While his fellow progressives nail him to the wall he may be still thinking the same as they.

Yep, she could find herself in legal hot water.

If, what I suspect is true, that Sterling and maybe others are “sugar daddies” for her, she may have to find a new one.

Or maybe she will have to get an honest job and work for a living. What a concept.

I think her sugar daddy hunting days are over. She is going to have to settle for much less now.

... I wouldn’t have a side girlfriend, and if I had any non-PC thoughts running in my head I’d keep them there. I also wouldn’t have spent the last 30 years deliberately putting a bad team on the court.

Yep I think you are right.

After all that has happened, if you are a man with a desire to have a female companion in such an arrangement, would you really want her?

I think she might have to get a real job.

I also think that this may have been an attempt at extortion or blackmail. And when the attempt failed, the tapes got leaked to TMZ to try to destroy Sterling.

I wish the media would start digging into that angle of things, as to why she was making tapes, who else knew about the tapes, and who would benefit if those tapes ever became public.

Actually they realized they already had an unsportsmanlike conduct rule and didn’t really need a second one for one word.

Just wondering if they actually can prevent this ‘Sterling Trust’ from selling tickets to an NBA game to an individual. I cannot see it standing anywhere.

They have opened a can of worms of course, but maybe they really just want to get these Playoffs over.

I’d like to see Silver investigated. His power trip could cause more damage to the NBA than Sterling’s mouth. The man doesn’t have much of a history on the internet. I’m wondering if we’re seeing a bathhouse Adam getting warmed up for some real action.

The man was over the top giddy about the NBA player coming put of the closet.

I wonder if Silver wanted to show how tough he is, by imposing such a strong penalty. He’s relatively new in the job, even though he was a top assistant to Stern for many years.

I wonder if Silver feared the reaction, if he didn’t impose such strong penalties. The way political correctness works, and the way the media and liberals interpret things, a lighter penalty would have been perceived as an endorsement of Sterling’s comments.

Of course, discerning people such as you and I know that’s not the case, but if Silver had given Sterling a slap on the wrist penalty, you know that there would have howls of protest about racism and how racism needs to be punished and all that.

If I was Sterling I would just bug the locker rooms and record the voices of the players and visiting players as well as the referees.

Here's what I should have noted....

Already, people prefer "March Madness" to NBA playoffs as a sport to follow.

Just not sure that's fact....although you may be right. I'm in OK...and the Thunder are a hot topic...

That said....I'm more attentive to OU and OSU B-Ball.

Trust me. Sterling already knows where the bodies are buried:

Sterling has owned the Clippers for 33 years, which suggests that he has had many interactions -- including private conversations with league officials and owners. If there are other owners who are racist or bigoted, it stands to reason Sterling knows who they are.

If Sterling is rational, he should realize by now, that he made a major mistake in contributing to Leftwing candidates, in the past--if the reports are true that he did;--and will further realize that the Leftist media, which went on a feeding frenzy to violate his privacy in order to intimidate others from ever daring to make "politically incorrect" statements to anyone, is bent on making sure that Americans have no more personal freedom than the Russians had under Stalin, or the Germans under Hitler.

With those realizations under his belt, he will seek to pay back the real enemy; which are not those other owners, and not even the strutting NBA Commissioner, but those propagandists in the media, who would be America's Berea or Himmler. Sterling could certain afford a few millions to put the spotlight of truth on those who really deserve it.
