The second "Sharknado" film doesn't premiere until this summer, but that hasn't stopped Syfy from plotting a third installment of the cult, social media-driven franchise.
What we know is that more sharks and tornadoes are expected to follow in the third movie, but a cast and location have yet to be announced.
The first film found sharks and storms wreaking havoc on Los Angeles, and the second one, titled "Sharknado 2: The Second One," is set in New York City. It debuts July 30 -- a year after the first movie premiered.
Actress Vivica A. Fox, Billy Ray Cyrus, Sugar Ray singer Mark McGrath, E! host Kelly Osbourne, actor Andy Dick and former "30 Rock" star Judah Friedlander will join original cast members Ian Ziering and Tara Reid.

There was a second flick?
She could be doing twerk warm-ups when a shark flies through the air and bites her in the butt.
I'd actually go to the theater to see that.
Look... there are just some things even a shark won’t eat.
I would PAY to see it too!
As the girls in the commercial said: “Ewww, seriously? so gross.”
Riff-Trax (~1/2 MST 3k guys) will “riff” Sharknado (1) in theaters nationwide on July 10th & 15th. Don’t miss that.
Our local Family Video store ran a promotion where the best video of one acting out a shark attack got a cameo in Sharknado II. I’ve got my vid all ready for III.
Can they make the third one in Washington DC?
I’m jealous! A cameo part in Sharknado! Life isn’t FAIR!
You know what they could do to make this a hit out of the park and guarantee it a revered place in cult film history? Have Billy Ray doing a concert with Miley. While Billy sings “My achy breaky SHARK,” Miley will be twerking and a shark will land and eat them BOTH!
I saw the last 30 minutes of episode 1.
Very funny, never bothered with the first 1 1/2 hrs.
Scared of helecopters now.
I think you have a good premise there for Sharknado 3. Don’t let Hoolywood steal it.
I was just thinking of that commercial the other day. Is it possible to miss a commercial? : )
I thought it was a law that the third in a series has to be 3-D
