Bank Employees Call 911 After Henderson City Employee LKoses Temper

Patience may be a virtue, but it is apparently one that a city of Henderson employee is seriously lacking.

Bank employees say they had no choice but to call police after a customer came in and began making threats and was badmouthing employees.

It happened a few days ago at a bank inside the Von's grocery store near Horizon Ridge and Horizon Drive.

Bank employees say that a customer got mad because he didn't get helped until 7 minutes after the bank opened.

According to bank employees, the customer later identified as Bobby Long had been waiting for 20 minutes for the bank to open at 9:30 a.m. He became upset because he was not the first person in line.

Long then allegedly closed his business account, left the bank, but then came back to deposit the cashier's check because he could not take it anywhere else.

That is when he began berating the bank employees. In the phone call to 911, the bank manager tells the dispatcher that Long "was ridiculous."

The manager identified the man as Bobby Long to 911 and told them that she was positive that he was a police officer.

According to the city of Henderson website, Bobby Long is a Henderson police captain. He was born and raised in Las Vegas and began his career with the city as a corrections officer in 1993. He became a police officer in 1994.

During his career, he has worked as a field training officer, a fatal accident investigator and member of the SWAT. He became a captain in 2013 and is currently captain of the West Area Patrol Command.

The city of Henderson has not confirmed to Channel 13 that Bobby Long was the person involved. They are simply referring to the person as an employee of the city and said that their Internal Affairs Bureau is investigating.

“This lady’s just begging for her dog to be shot.”

Cops usually shoot dogs for no good reason or just for the hell of it.

A Civil servant expressing his entitlement. The bank employees should bow at the waist when he enters.
