nuqneH! (hello) Today is a good day to post! Please forgive the vanity, but I just found this and must report it to my fellow Star Trek fans here. I know this is a complete waste of time, but everything has been so serious lately -- possible World War and all -- I thought we needed a break.
qaStaH nuq? (what's happening?), you ask.
The Bing Translator at http://www.bing.com/translator can translate English into Klingon! The translator was introduced when the last Star Trek movie was released, in partnership with the Klingon Language Institute.
buy' ngop! (that's great news!)
Go over to the link and select 'Translate from: English' and 'Translate to: Klingon'. You can select 'Klingon (plqaD)' to see the letters in the Klingon alphabet.
Fellow Trekkers, let's have a meeting of the Klingon Caucus, the tlhIngan qep. Go over to the translator and type in your post, and come back and paste the Klingon here. And you need to post the English, too, because the translator has definitely got some issues.
Unfortunately, I don't think the FR server will be able to post text in the original Klingon characters. I know, the sadness.

Although this is the Klingon Caucus, posts about Star Wars are welcome. We will risk implosion of the known universe by mixing Star Trek and Star Wars in the same thread... for now.

I've got a bad feeling about this. :-)

I only wish I could think of a way to introduce “Lost on Space” to the topic.

I used to work in a Christian International school in Hong Kong. One Christmas I decorated my library with traditional Bible verses about the appearance of Christ but translated them all into Klingon using a program like this.
None of the kids in the school had clue why this was funny because Star Trek was not shown in Hong Kong.
I’m about half way through watching all the Star Trek episodes of all the canonical series by Star Date. Does that qualify me for a Star Trek ping list?
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

Anyone else remember where Sheldon wanted to preside at Howard’s wedding only if he could do the service in Klingon?
"What difference, at this point, does it matter?"
Apparently, "difference" doesn't translate from English to Klingon at all.
It didn't translate from English to English very well for Hillary either.
“Anyone else remember where Sheldon wanted to preside at Howards wedding only if he could do the service in Klingon?”
Was that the one where Sheldon’s girlfriend demanded to wear her bride’s maid dress to the county justice of the peace office?
Yep and they ended up doing on the roof because the Google Earth was being refreshed that day.
