Many years back,before the hospital where I worked pretty much dropped their overhead PA system ("Dr Smith,dial 337") a young resident working in our department convinced the page operator to page "Doctor Dulcolax" to a particular extension.Funny!!!
Also,one April Fool's Day the charge nurse of our department (the ER),as she routinely did,gave a patient's cover sheet to a particular nurse and asked her to call that patient into a treatment room from the waiting room.So the nurse goes out into the crowded waiting room,looks at the name on the sheet,and calls out "Pat McGroin"....Pat McGroin".

I used to work at the original Steak House at Knott’s and some of the hosts loved doing the funny pages out to the whole park. One of their favorites was “Jack MeHoff, Jack MeHoff please, your table is ready”.
