In her role as NBC journalist, Ann Curry has reported from some of the worlds hot spots, including Afghanistan, Iraq and Darfur. But when she experienced an unexpected injury on a New Jersey hiking trail, Curry found herself assisted by the Boy Scouts of America.
Writing in Scouting Magazine, Bryan Wendell says Scouts from Berkeley Heights encountered Curry on a trail in Harriman State Park in New York. Curry, 57, had broken her ankle.
We were hiking along, and we came to a trail intersection, Scouter Rick Jurgens said, and a lady was sitting on the ground with her one leg out. We didnt think anything of it, but one of the guys asked if everything is OK. She said, No, not really. I think I broke my ankle. She told us to keep going, but the guys refused.

They should have left her there
What?! She didn’t take the honorable way out rather than be rescued by a bunch of “homophobes”?
But since they didn’t have a homosexual scoutmaster, it doesn’t count.
Beat me by 15 seconds.
New York or New Jersey? Come on, “journalists”!
Good on the boys, even though there may yet be a special boy amongst them since they caved.
Nah. They did the right thing. Jesus said to love thine enemies, and by their actions they only show the best in themselves.
Harriman State Park is in NY. The scouts were from NJ.
Methinks the author is a tad confused and/or lacks map reading skills.
i suppose she can take their help now that they went pro-sodomy.
kind of racist for an asian to have curry as a last name.....
Harriman State Park is just across the line into NY from NJ.
If they really wanted to help humanity, they should have left here there. Lol
Agenda meets reality. Ann, that is what you and your ilk is trying to destroy. I hope you have trouble with that now.
You’d think she’d make a donation
Good thing Matt Lauer did not show up. He would have rolled her and stabbed her in the back. Some more.
Raise your hand if you have ever had an expected injury.
