Speaking seriously for a moment, where is “moderate Islam”? Why are we needed to go rescue these girls? Why don’t moderate Muslims go and correct their own “deviant” co-religionists.
Today I read that these girls have been forced to convert.
Where is moderate Islam today denouncing this forced conversion? Where is the declaration that any conversion not done of free will is void?

moderate islamics are mute. there is that one guy on Fox who is outspoken moderate, can’t recall his name right now. i know of no others.

well the Koran speaks of killing infidels, so there’d be no reason for them to have a problem with it. were any other religion try forced conversion the hue and cry would be CACAPHONOUS.

i know Pens fans think that’s the answer to every bit of criticism, regardless of what it is, but really, it’s no more than a big “NEENER NEENER, we have won the Cup.” It does not negate the criticism, and it doesn’t ameliorate any bad behavior. I’ve gotten that same sort of BS from my dear sweet nephew and while i know you guys think that statement ends the debate, it really doesn’t.

True ‘moderates’ will actually moderate a situation, bringing things closer to center actively. There’s a reason there are damn near zero moderating muslims now; they have a long history of being the first one’s killed once the real islamics take over. Now what the media calls a “moderate muslim” is simply one who isn’t carrying a rifle or strapping explosives to a child. However, they know damn well not to speak out, or else it’ll be the death of them. So what you get with the media’s “moderate muslims” is someone who gives tacit approval to allah’s pervs and murders. “Moderate” my ass.
