when he made his arguments back then, they were logical and well founded on the data. he did add the caveat “if the democrats don’t steal it”. and there are numerous indications they did.
now, on a slight digression, morris’ data was in line with lots of other respected pollsters, and nate silver’s data was in line with a lot of the liberal bloggers. so, looking back, you would go with the pollsters.
and, just as we’ve seen with the Obama upside down world, the nate silvers turn out to be right, and conventional pollsters wrong.
