When I look at her picture I am reminded of William Faulkner's description of the criminal "Popeye" in the first chapter of his book Sanctuary...

This incident is indicative of sheeple nation. She was just following orders, no matter how dangerous, bizarre, or moronic. No need to think about what could go wrong, she just shot the idiot because he asked her to do that.
Don't question destructive behavior, just do it. As for productive, morally upright endeavors:
What are the odds she would have become righteously indignant if someone had instead asked her to... do some work?
