A Texas talk show host stormed off set Tuesday after a heated discussion was ignited when she expressed disapproval of coverage showing Michael Sam kissing his boyfriend.
“Can we just agree that this was an opportunity to make news?” KTXD-TV’s “The Broadcast” host Amy Kushnir asked.
“He has every right to do what he wants, that’s not my issue,” she added. “I just don’t want it in my face.”

Freedom of ‘incorrect’ speech is under attack everywhere we look. One of these women actually said that homosexuals kiss in certain movies or shows, so therefore the objecting woman’s young kids need to just handle it. Disgusting.

That was a very interesting discussion. Each viewpoint was represented. I have a feeling if this discussion had taken place over a few after-dinner drinks, there would have been some in your face yelling going on. The nice looking one on the left was the most lobotomized Lib Zombie at the table. The Moderator did a good job, different that you see with Candy Crowley types. This Moderator gave everyone a fair chance to express their views. I could tell the oldest one thought the whole matter was a bunch of B.S. and was close to saying so. It’s good that folks are having these frank discussions.

KTXD-TV started the “The Broadcast” in February 2013 as an opinion-based show. We selected five hosts who represent a subset of the vast, diverse community that we serve, and we encourage them on a daily basis to share their personal opinions on a variety of topics.
On Tuesday, May 13, that topic happened to be Michael Sam’s draft day kiss and the controversy it was generating. The debate between our four hosts that day got unusually heated and ended with one host – Amy Kushnir – leaving the set. Ms. Kushnir’s action was a signal of frustration on her part, as she felt she was unable to express her own views correctly.
While KTXD-TV neither supports nor condemns opinions shared by our hosts, we stand behind both “The Broadcast” and Ms. Kushnir. We wholeheartedly stand behind their right to voice their opinions as an integral part of our program. We have clearly ruffled feathers, and in doing so we hope we have advanced the dialogue on this important issue.

Unfortunately, liberals of the modern day have been fascist (at best) for a fairly long time; today's group is so horrendous, fascist might be a nicer term than they deserve......

What is just as repugnant is that ESPN set this all up solely on the premise that this guy is gay...How many 248th draft picks have a camera waiting for them to be drafted???
How many 6 or 7th rounders have a crew at hand waiting for their reaction to being drafting almost at the very end of the draft???
This was all set up not because he was a great college football player, but ONLY because he said he was gay...
ESPN ought to be totally ashamed by this......
