Why cant everyone in the Java world simply rally around the ECLIPSE IDE?Eclipse is excellent development platform. If you want to develop Android apps you can download the ADT (Android Developer Tools) bundle, which includes Eclipse.

I just finished re-installing the updates and now uninstalling them one by one, to find the one preventing my access to Internet Explorer. It turns out that when I uninstalled #KB2926765 that all my IE use was restored, so I believe there is some sort of glitch in KB2926765 which changes the Internet Explorer connection.
My next step is to re-install all the other four updates and see if one of those is also screwing up my settings.
