Posted on 05/16/2014 7:54:46 PM PDT by BenLurkin
Whitlock pointed out that it seems like Sam is taking advantage of his position and its evident by him selling his own merchandise online:
I feel duped. Again, hes got a website up selling t-shirts its a merchandise store. This all looks like a cash grab more than a guy that wants to be a great football player as he has said. I dont wanna come down too hard on Michael Sam, he comes from a very difficult background with his family and as we saw on draft day he was not surrounded by family as most people are on draft day, he was surrounded by two of his handlers and his boyfriend. You have to wonder if hes not being manipulated and influenced because everyone that I know that knows him as a football player says hes very passionate about football, but here he is now as a 7th-round pick, a guy who is a longshot to make the roster, hes now involving himself with a reality TV show, hes got a website up hawking t-shirts, his agents cut a deal to be producers on this show, his publicist cut a deal to be a producer on this show, again it just doesnt pass the smell test in terms of authenticity. Its disappointing because I think whoever is maneuvering him needs to understand, the most important thing he has to do is make the football team. If he doesnt make the football team all their causes, concerns about the LGBT community, the selling of merchandise, it all goes away.
Whitlock also admitted that if he was a Rams decision-maker, hed consider cutting Sam immediately.

Freepers stay tuned for lead article in American Thinker tomorrow: Sam the Sham.
BLASPHEME!!!!! BURN HIM!!!!! /prog
THIS MAN MUST BE FIRED IMMEDIATELY! HOW DARE HE
By Monday morning ESPN will have taken Mr. Whitlock to the woodshed. And the beating he’ll take won’t be pretty.
Welcome to fascist America, Jason.
Cutting him for anything less than absolutely atrocious on-field performance will be met with loud screams of “homophobia”. I think that the Rams are stuck with this guy for at least a couple of games.
Brian Bosworth part II. He knew he couldn’t play at the next level too.
Oprah bought the rights to document his first year. Her crew is following him around as he acts like a real NFL player.
The IRS with or without Lois Learner will have this Analyst worrying about something that starts with the same first 4 letters as his job tile in no time.
Give it a few days, this guy will be singing a different tune..BSPN will throw him in a closet and demand that he apologize to the homo community..of course Michael Sam is using his gayness to make money..DUH..he knows he stinks as a football player, just like Jason Collins knows he would be in the D league right now if it weren’t for the fact that he “Came out” its all about getting on a winning team..then they sit their asses on the bench and you never hear from them again
What do you think goes on at tolerance re-education camps.
I think they should start a Football league just for gays.
Make the Heretic Confess!
Nothing worse in team sports than a cancer in the locker room.
Once it becomes known that Sam is only interested in Sam, then any continued association with the organization would be fatal to the teams chances for that season.
He may be cut.
Sounds like Jason Whitlock and Don Jones will be carpooling to Re-Ed in the near future.
As soon as this joker spouted off with the attitude about not being a higher pick, I knew he was an arrogant head case.
Ah, but Whitlock gets a pass, cuz a brotha can call a sham brotha out.
Even if he is a goofball sham brotha his own self...
I don’t know that he couldn’t play at the next level or not. He was a heckuva college player and I think he went out on injury.
More like the anal rape inquisition. They’re back, and they’re fabulous!
