Boy Directs Chopper Getting Water for Cocos Fire Amid the San Diego Fires, the community has seen all kinds of helpers, big and small. In this video clip, a young boy enthusiastically flags down a helicopter, directing the crew to get water for the Cocos Fire in San Marcos. At the end, the boy gets a surprise: a sprinkle from the chopper taking off.
Than he got promptly arrested.
Video does not load at all. Busted link?
It just now worked fine for me.
Good job! He can crow about that for years to come.
Somebody must have taught him a little bit about semaphores or signaling, even though he uses sticks, not flags.
Now, if someone would just teach the adults to
HOLD THE SMARTPHONE HORIZONTAL WHEN FILMING!
LOL. I’m still learning too. Some of the most basic cell phone uses, I’m helpless unless I can ask a polite young person, lucky for me, I meet a few in my hobby classes. If I keep drilling, gambling and experimenting, I most likely will figure things out on my own, but it may not be on that day.
I’m pretty sure the pilot wasn’t watching the boy or listening to his mom.
He was busy at the time.
Thank you. The video still does not load. No idea why. Nevermind. Thank you again for sending the link.
Yup. Or wishing they would give him more room.
You’re welcome. Sorry it wouldn’t work.
The mighty Frog at work.
This is so lame
