I notice both Geithner's father and his mother's father had connections with the Ford Foundation or Ford Motor Company.
For that matter, he may have gotten the Treasury job because Obama's mother was also involved with the Ford Foundation.
Privileges, connections and advantages like that are something the government isn't going to do anything about.
