Do not confuse today’s word with that other mythical creature, half elephant, half rhinoceros: the elephino.

Now, set your (Fast)Wayback machines to 1983 and kick out the jams:

Democrats were quick to bring up the age of republican candidates Ronald Reagan, Bob Dole, and John McCain, but any mention of Hillary’s age is strictly prohibited. Bunch of hippogriffs!

It would be cool if someone made a hippogriff version of this classic:

Unlike the nobel hippogriff,
the hippobama only brings lies, deception, fraud and destruction.

Yeah, that’s what I meant. Or is it verde?

That is one of those shades that caused fistfights in my family growing up. Well, not fistfights, but heated disagreements.

did i tell you what we are doing for placecard holders for the wedding? xsteen wanted, and they found a place that does them, a puck with a cut in it to put the card in which will have the guest’s name and table number on it. The puck will be custom designed with their initials, the flyers and caps logos and at the bottom it will say official wedding puck, the date and the location.

A little bit of rain on your wedding day is good luck. At least that’s what they say in climates where it rains. ;-)

We had a little shower on my wedding day after we had gotten to the church and before we left.

I have a picture of us next to my dad’s old T-bird and there are beads of water on the car, adding a nice effect.

We got wrapped pucks as favors with writing on them at the wedding last fall. He had his hockey coach, who had become a reverend able to marry people in his spare time, do the service. He was the kiddo who has played hockey his whole life and interned with the NY Rangers and set up their youth program. I think they had a giant puck for the groom’s cake too.

we have no need of a grooms cake with the 4-5 tier cake with 3 different flavors and a cookie table, but we were thinking of a flyers themed cake, if we were going to do one.

i think cupcakes are a great idea, no cutting required! i am still amazed at the idea of multiple flavors in one cake. that was not available back in our wedding era, or if it was, we did not know about it. They decided on the choc mousse layer, a bavarian cream with fruit layer, and a tiramisu layer. With the choc mousse being the biggest layer or two. This place makes the best cake we have ever tasted anywhere. And it was cheaper than the other place they looked and tasted.

Hah!

And here i thought the ‘ellifIknow” was how the GrOPe establishment was going to justify their votes every day.....

Then again, Obama’s democratic press corpse is determined to link any and all peaceniks and flower children with Hillary’s “love everybody” campaign. Kind of a hippiegraft to her neck in case she falls again I suppose.

Election day down here in GA.

Do not confuse today’s word with that other mythical creature, half elephant, half rhinoceros: the elephino*

* a/k/a RINOphant – rhymes with sycophant, most of whom the former are.

And unlike these all-too-real political creatures, at least the mythical Hippogriff is not a hypocrite by nature…

like, maybe there’s one? ; )
music is not my raison d’etre, generally. i really really really like silence best of all. there are times i will play my ipod in the car, i like the drive time DJ in the AM, bc they are funny and interesting and makes the commute pass quickly. But in the house, i do not turn the TV on to have background noise, i do not turn music on.
