Kids know which other kids are good at various different things. Cancelling the awards ceremony does not remove the knowledge of which kids were smart and which were not so smart. Giving everyone a trophy at sports banquets does not mean everyone somehow forgets who really was the best player on the team. It’s all so stupid, really. It’s as if there were a prize for “tallest student” and they just gave it to everyone all at once. It’s a 32-way tie for tallest kid.

yes,seriously. However, they still recognize cum laude, magna cum laude & summa cum laude.
but of course they still recognize the individual top atheletes....
