Posted on 05/21/2014 12:13:49 PM PDT by Morgana
On Saturday, Justina Pelletier turns 16 years old. I wonder what special plans the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families (DCF) have for Justina on her special day, her sweet sixteen, a day that comes along just once in a young womans life.
As a court-ordered ward of the state, Justina is being parented and cared for by the DCF.
justinapelletier6After DCFs kidnapping of Justina over 15 months ago through a malicious parent-ectomy, Justinas horrific care has been referred to as both barbaric and life-threatening.
This young woman, who was competing in ice skating events just a year and a half ago, is now bound to a wheel chair. Her emotional and physical conditions have dramatically declined under DCFs care.
These are just a few of the reasons why the Massachusetts nanny state makes a horrible parent and expose the hubris of the state in determining that they know whats best for a child.
They removed Justina from the loving care of the Pelletier family and her home merely over a disputed medical diagnosis.
Under an arrangement with the DCF, Justina is now a resident of the behavior (psych) wing of the JRI Susan Wayne Center in Thompson, Connecticut, about an hour from the home of Linda and Lou Pelletier.
Justina should be returned home for her birthday!
The Liberty Counsel legal team filed a habeas corpus petition with the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court asking for the immediate release of Justina from her unlawful detention.
The fact is, Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick and the DCF could take action TODAY and send Justina home by simply informing the court that they agree with the petition.
They have the power to end this nightmare and let Justina spend her 16th birthday at home with her family.
Call Governor Patrick right now and urge him to SEND JUSTINA HOME FOR HER 16th BIRTHDAY. Be sure to mention that her birthday is THIS SATURDAY when you call.
Here are three phone numbers for Governor Patrick:
617-725-4005 413-784-1200 202-624-7713
We have very limited time to try and make this happen, but Justina deserves our best efforts.
Thank you for your attention, your prayers, and your support of Liberty Counsels efforts on behalf of Justina and other victims of the increasingly oppressive nanny state.
I bet they'll try.
Where is the ‘informed consent’ form
signed by the parents prior to
the States experimentation
on the minor, led by an untrained house officer?
Mr. Mengele, please pick up the red courtesy
phone for Gov. Patrick and Dr. Dookhan.
I bet they try and hold her against her will as well.
Given her decline in the past year, she’ll be dead before she’s 18.
There’s a rally at the MA state house this Saturday to put pressure on them. I’m going.
I am not so sure she will live long enough for us to find out.
A lot of missing information. Why were the parents deemed unfit. Do we REALLY want this girl back with her parents. Were they the cause of her initial handicap? I know people hate the Social Worker people, but the story is very one sided.
State-sponsored CRIME. Thanks for keepin’ on this story M.
Oh my gosh. How is that possible?
The article is a reminder and call to action for those of use who have been following the story for the past year.
After age 18, hopefully she files a federal civil rights lawsuit against the state for a billion dollars, and wins.
People at Harvard are wanting to make their bones on research and drugs, so they declared Justina’s condition part of that syndrome/disease.
The family is flat broke. The parents rarely see her. I don’t know how she can go to church or get schooling. She has been in State custody for so long that her self concept must be destroyed.
We still have NO idea why she was taken in the first place. Something had to have happened for this to be instituted. Government workers are notoriously lazy in the social work area especially. They are not just going to plop down and start taking a kid for no reason. Something is up.
And the States of Massachusetts and Connecticut are KILLING this girl.
I will never knowingly go to those places again. Note: If I like a place, I drop money there.
It is possible because the House Officer and hospital
broke the Law and ethics. Then the coverup.
ok....but what did the parents do?????
I haven’t been following this story very closely but why didn’t the parents just take her back, with force if necessary, when this first happened?
I can’t imagine this happening to us and our children/grandchildren.
